What We Collect

Grammar Spy™ collects minimal data to provide the service:

• Account information: Name and email address (if you create an account)
• Usage data: Game scores, accuracy, and progress — stored locally in your browser (localStorage)
• Lead-form submissions: Email addresses submitted for free diagnostic/download requests
• Analytics: Anonymous page views via Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used

How Data Is Stored

Account and progress data are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Lead-form email submissions (for diagnostic/download requests) are sent to our email provider via Brevo.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics (GA4): Collects anonymous usage statistics. No personally identifiable information is shared. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Brevo: Processes lead-form submissions for diagnostic/download email capture.
• Stripe: If you make a payment, Stripe processes it securely. Grammar Spy™ never sees or stores your payment card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: Hosts the website. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Grammar Spy™ is designed for classroom use with students aged 10+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental or school consent. Teacher accounts manage student access. If you believe a child's data was collected improperly, please contact us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Lead-form email submissions are shared only with the providers needed to process delivery (for example, Brevo). Anonymous analytics data may be used to improve the product.

Your Rights

You can delete all your data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for grammarspy.net. Since data is stored locally, deleting it removes it permanently.

Cookies

Grammar Spy™ uses localStorage (not cookies) for account and progress data. Google Analytics may set cookies for anonymous tracking.
